A note from the founder
I love to travel, and whenever I plan a trip, the first thing I look up is what the region is special for. Years ago in Mysore, that meant bringing home a Mysore Sandal soap. In 2026, a visit to Kannauj changed the way I saw things.
I spent five years in banking and digital payments, but my real obsession was always collecting botanicals from different regions and using them in my skincare. Standing in Kannauj, I kept asking myself one question: when India is so blessed with botanicals, why is it still so hard to find pure, high-quality natural skincare?
Ruh & Ras is my answer. Ruh is Soul. Ras is essence.
We travel to the place where each botanical grows. We learn its seasons, how to identify it, and how to check its purity. Only then do we bring it to you, and to the world.
I want Ruh & Ras to be known for purity you can trace, back to the soil, the season and the people who grow it.
