Ruh & Ras is a brand of Inside Out Wellness (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use this website or buy from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
- Details you give us: your name, phone number, email address and delivery address when you place an order, write to us or sign up for news.
- Order details: what you bought, when, the amount paid and the delivery status.
- Payments: payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your full card number, UPI PIN or banking passwords.
- Technical details: like every website, our host receives basic information such as your IP address and browser type when pages load.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your order, including order and delivery updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
- To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds and complaints.
- To keep the records that tax and accounting laws require.
- To send you news about our products, only if you have agreed to it. You can stop these at any time.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Only with the partners who help us run the shop, and only what each one needs: our payment partner (Razorpay), shipping and courier partners, our website host (Cloudflare), and our email and messaging providers. We may also share information when the law requires it.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It keeps a small note in your own browser to remember where you were on a page, and it loads one script from jsDelivr, which receives your IP address when it sends that file. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy first.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as Indian tax and accounting laws require, and other information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.
How we protect it
We use reasonable security practices to protect your information, and we limit access to the people and partners who need it. No method of sending or storing data online is completely secure, but we work to keep yours safe.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct or update it, or to delete it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. Write to hello@ruhnras.com and we will reply within 30 days.
Children
Our shop is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 without a parent or guardian’s consent.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
